Beyond delighted to announce that I will be starting my PhD this October, investigating fear of childbirth with an incredible supervisory team at @LJMUPsychology so grateful for my time at @LivUniPsyc during both my BSc and MSc 😊
So you are granted migrant status and are therefore known to be vulnerable! Yet the NHS are going to charge you for your health care!!! Is it any wonder we have high mortality and morbidity rates for BAME women in maternity!!!
We are very disappointed by the decision to not remove migrant charging for NHS maternity care which deters women from seeking help when they need it.
We supported, and will continue to support, @MaternityAction on this matter.

I 💯 agree. Birthing people need support and they need it now. Plus real choice. Many areas still don't have homebirth reinstated or access to a MLU!!! Not acceptable!!
Exciting to see the first publicly funded Homebirth happen

Gorgeous pictures of our lovey midwife Anna on our birth centre. Pleased to say we have the peanut balls & bars on delivery suite too. We are able to support upright birthing across the unit 🥰 @KingstonMSLC @maternity_team @KingstonHospNHS
