game dev is in such a weird spot right now. theoretically the only way to build an audience is by posting about your unique game, instead of shadow dropping it. but if you don't shadow drop it, there's a very good chance an AI bro will rapidly recreate and publish your idea

Even the smallest thing can make all the differences.
In this example, I added a simple animation for my enemies to make them visually easier to understand

-Small -> slow, passive
-Big -> fast, aggressive, dangerous

Just a little attention to detail can make a huge difference here's how I improve my enemy looks with just simple additions

-Make the sprite ignore light and chromatic aberrations
-More clothe varaints
-Particle effects to give it flicking effect

This indie dev made an extra level in his game where you find a needle in a haystack!!!!!!
-Find keycards between chairs
-Keycards are randomized with each restart
-Avoid scary enemies!
