It's Kolvet who had the NEED to give those texts to authorities @joekent16jan19 prior to a suspect, for reasons still unknown.

In 1856 a New York newspaper published an article calling for races too weak to master the new conditions of life to perish in a revolutionary Holocaust. The author was Jewish Karl Marx. The newspaper was the New York Tribune.

The quote comes from an article Marx wrote in 1856 called "The Bourgeoisie and the Counter-Revolution." The exact line: "The classes and the races too weak to master the new conditions of life must give way. They must perish in the revolutionary holocaust."

Read that again slowly. The Jewish father of communism, the man whose ideology justified the murder of tens of millions of people across the Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, and Eastern Europe, used the word Holocaust in 1856 to describe what should happen to races and classes too weak to survive the revolution. Not what might happen. What must happen. They must perish.

The word holocaust comes from the Greek holokauston meaning a burnt offering, something consumed entirely by fire. It had been used occasionally in English before Marx but his use of it in this specific context, applied to races and classes who must be eliminated to make way for the new order, is one of the earliest documented uses of the word to describe the deliberate mass destruction of human groups as a political and historical necessity.

The Nazis are credited with coining the ideological framework of eliminating races deemed unfit for the new world they were building. Marx wrote that framework in plain English in a New York newspaper in 1856, eighty years before Hitler came to power, and the ideology he built around it went on to kill more people than any other political system in human history.

The word Holocaust was not invented to describe what the Nazis did. It was used first to describe what the communists believed must be done. History buried that detail. Winston Churchill uses it in 1915 to describe the Armenian genocide. First applied to Nazis in 1933 in a Newsweek story about the famous gay/trans book burnings. Used in the New York Times in 1943 to describe what was happening to Jews. Becomes the dominant English term for the Nazi genocide from the 1960s onward.
