For centuries, the study of astronomy has been an integral part of Indian society and culture.

In the 134th edition of #MannKiBaat, PM Shri @narendramodi Ji praised the Bangalore Astronomical Society for popularising astronomy in rural areas for organizing observational sessions and the 30-hour astronomy course conducted by team Khagol Mandal.

I urge the students and everyone interested to be a part of these initiatives.
