Do not empower your wife because you're hoping that she'll feed you and pay your bills without grumbling should your finances go south.
Empower her with the hope that she may be kind to your children.
As for you, if she extends that kindness to you, give glory to God.
End.
@jon_d_doe Human beings naturally want to show off the things that make them happy, even if it's just to feel seen. But when something feels wrong, our minds can switch into defensive mode: โHIDEโ or โRUN.โ
@davido@inecnigeria People that are doing permutations and combination already... Trust inec at your own risk. We are not ready in this country yet,
under this current administration?... Is okay
Drag me all you want. ๐
The 2027 election is APC vs Nigeria.
But thereโs a simple secret many people are missing:
If 100 people register to vote but only 30 actually come out, those 30 votes can be split across โ10 partiesโ. That creates a close margin, making manipulation and rigging much easier.
But let all 100 come out. Or at least 90.
They can rig, manipulate, and do whatever they want, but it becomes much harder to close the gap against the genuine will of Nigerians.
I wish more people understood this simple maths.
Democracy is a "GAME OF NUMBERS". And numbers only work when the people show up.
That is where the real secret lies.
As much as I agree with this, I wouldn't recommend it for my kids when they are mature enough, neither would I force them not to if they eventually choose it, it will solely be there choose, but I will be available to advice accordingly (religiously and culturally)
Honest confession: our own case was semi-cohabitation for about 4 years. One distant uncle almost separated us when he found out, but I was so determined, and we both kept telling ourselves that we were married.๐๐ We just hadn't made it official for family and friends to celebrate with us through a wedding ceremony or gone to court to make it legally official.
Most of what we knew about each other, we already knew before getting married, and I was almost 26 when we finally made it official.
8 years in marriage now.
Lots of gbasgbos. Many times, I wanted to walk away. ๐ But there is something deeper that always seems to reignite us. I can't fully explain it yet.
But all I know is, she's the best thing that has ever happened to me, and she still is. โค๏ธ
But here we are, 8 years strong and still going, making it 12 years together in total.
I don't know if this makes any sense, but it is what it is. ๐

Power tussle and money influence.
If money has never entered the matter among a group of people, whether marital or non-marital, you can never truly tell if you know that person.
Money has a way of revealing a lot about people: their mindset, priorities, values, and sometimes even who they really are.
@WumiTuase Men respect boundaries a lot....
He won't call back until you return the call. And even with that, he might ask you "what's the best time I can call?"
This PSquare and Okoye matter don tire person jare. ๐
Whatโs all this? Ah!!
Itโs good to always know or have all sides of the story oooo, not just one side.
They all need to pour out their minds jare, compromise, or set some ground rules for themselves going forward, and stay off social media for now.
The deed is done. Moving forward should be the koko.
Are they not tired? ๐๐๐๐
@abazwhyllzz Afi Solomon vow nor, abi sole member. All join.๐๐
Forever is the deal.
God keeps them and give them peace through out there life.
They really fit each other.
I totally agree with this, especially the part about them living far away from each other.
A man will marry the woman he loves and find peace in, irrespective of whatever (not a bad thing at all). But the mistake he made was thinking everyone should be cool with his decision, especially his brothers.
That kind of thing can be mentally punishing for a family that holds culture, tradition and unwritten family laws in high esteem ( the initial reaction from the Mrs J. Okoye). Living far away from each other might have allowed the initial resentment to die down with time. They could have grown past it a long time ago.
But here they are today: ripple effects and chain reactions.
Last last, they all need to pour out their minds, confront whatever is unresolved and move on from there. Heal or compromise. They will all be fine.
But they need to be very careful not to pass this baton to their children. What starts as a disagreement between adults can become a lifelong battle for the next generation if nobody consciously breaks the cycle.
One of the greatest insults and acts of disrespect that Peter revealed in his series was saying that his wife, Lola, is older than his older brother, Jude and his twin brother, Paul.
He said it in private to them, and then still said it in public. Clearly, he doesn't understand the depth of that insult.
It doesn't matter if Jude or Paul truly offended him.
He shouldn't have married Lola in the first place, but that's history now.
He allowed money and perks to get into the way of logic and masculinity.
The worst part?
Jude wasn't wise enough to ensure that they all lived far away from each other.
Married brothers must never live in close proximity to each other.
If they are to live in close proximity to each other, it should only be when they are visiting their family home for either events or holidays.
And that family home is their father's home.
See finish plus resentment were the catalysts.
End.
@RichesAutos@Hybrid_Ola Another rage bait detected.๐คฆ๐คฆ
So a woman should walk away from a man that trust her and ready to fight for her no matter what.
Wettin blue tick go latter cause ehn๐
These are the kind of stories that should trend.
No be every time controversy, gbas gbos, or feminism palava.
Most of them don't even know what feminism really means. Na just resentment or hatred for men, and boom, they tag themselves feminists.
The real feminists know the difference.
