Today I took my first GCSE Sociology class to Loughborough University (the university that I attended). I started the course last year and I wanted to raise their aspirations and encourage them to #daretodream. Thank you @lborouniversity for having us. @BabingtonLWLAT

For Broadening Horizons this morning our students took part in #solutionsnotsides, discussing peaceful solutions for the Israel- Palestine conflict. We were so proud of our students for the way they engaged with the session. #proudtobebabington @BabingtonLWLAT @MissSaulRE

I know love island has its misogynistic moments but this year it is particularly bad! I feel sad that these programs are what our young people look up to

My year 11’s wrote essays in pairs as part of their revision. Wasn’t thrilled with the presentation, but then I realised that collaboration doesn’t have to be neat to be successful, the main aim is that students build on each others knowledge and use it to fill their own gaps
