For decades, Fauci helped America battle HIV/AIDS, Ebola, Zika and COVID. He served presidents of both parties through crisis after crisis. He was not infallible, but he was a serious public servant doing extraordinarily difficult work.

The #MAGAFearFactory needed a scapegoat for fear, grief and Trump’s catastrophic failures, so it turned a respected scientist into a cartoon villain.

Seizing his private diary and twisting ordinary pride, humor and humanity into evidence of wrongdoing is not oversight - It is political persecution, and it is absolutely abhorrent. 😠

Tork is on pace for 30 homers, basically a league average ops season, with average to slightly below average defense. Not bad enough to move off of, not good enough to ever live up to his 1/1 hype, not clutch. A slow burn watching him season after season

Honestly, I think the correct move would be to trade Tarik and that’s it.

You unload your biggest trade piece and could still probably crawl your way into playoff contention with your current rotation plus Jobe coming back soon.
