If you like to build stuff, read this.
This is the state of affairs now.
Your app/product is just one prompt away from being cloned.
This is why taste is so important now.
Levels is right again, software is dead, and it’s the best news!!
You now become Gucci.
Everyone in the world is shipping Walmart clothes and it’s a race to the bottom. Who is the biggest loser.
Wake up
You now have to create “brand”. ✨
Just like every single real business in the world. And yes Indy hackers can still do this. Make a YouTube video, livestream, work with influencers.
You can buy an identical Rolex clone online for 1/100th of the price right now. Literally no one could tell the difference.
Yet most would never do that.
Most want the real deal. This is not because of the product. Yes it’s world class, but their brand / marketing is second to none.
People like Marc Lou / Jack Friks have already shown us this works.
Don’t even get me started on building an app with built in community / network. A 14 year old could build a better version of IG or FB right now.
You know why it doesn’t work?
Bec the people you stalk from high school are on the real ig.
My family has had a fitness center for 30 years, every commercial gym has tried to compete with us.
Planet fitness, etc…
They loose every time because the hot chicks and jacked dudes go to our gym and post selfies online.
It’s “the place” to lift.
I have made almost $40k off an ADE in the last couple weeks. I’m selling software to people who build software.
Read that again.
My product is epic, it’s borderline art, not utility. I livestream myself building it everyday, and have created a community of 500 builders.
This is how you win.
Hey @farzatv, I really like your work @heyclicky.
But I noticed that it sends users’ full voice transcripts and AI responses to your PostHog project without a clear disclosure or opt-in.
This could expose sensitive personal or project data.
Could you address this or maybe notify users?

I'm a huge hoarder of links, whether they’re articles, tweets, yt videos, or anything else worth saving.
Until recently, I was saving everything by messaging it to myself on whatsapp (basic but works) and I know a ton of people who do this.
Not anymore, this is how my saved links look like now.
I was not sure this idea was going to work and it honestly didn't make sense initially, but as the resources started piling up and the directory became really rich, it just worked perfectly.
Now I can't image not using this everyday.
