@SebOnFootball It’s performative politics. Chucking pints, constantly disturbing people to go for a piss, more gratuitous bad language and abusive behaviour. No thanks.
@ROTS1882 Pretty much every aspect of the comms needs to be overhauled. It’s all formulaic and I associated it all with supporting a team which never wins at Home. And if we did win, they would just play that freed from desire song that everybody else plays.
@georgeachillea It’s bonkers. Suppose we’re one up against Woolwich with ten minutes left. We’re not putting Kevin on and going to a five at the back? Right…
@spursologist If you want something to complain about, how about the fact that the club finished 17th two seasons in a row and that our Home league form has been utterly miserable? So what if we are over paying for players right now? If it gets us back to top six, bring it on.
@jaydmharris@GuillermoRai_@SebSB@TheAthleticFC Yet the greatest part of his legacy may be the multiplications upon which he called out the Tottenham owners. If Tottenham have now turned a corner, he played a very big part in that.
@jaydmharris@GuillermoRai_@SebSB@TheAthleticFC Off the pitch, he seemed to prioritise Argentina over Spurs, he didn’t seem to care about one of the most important matches in our history and apparently he was prepared to go to Arsenal.
@jaydmharris@GuillermoRai_@SebSB@TheAthleticFC On the pitch, we saw some heroic performances, pinnacle of which was built Bow, and also some audacious goals when he dragged the team out of a mess. But his self discipline was awful and he wasn’t always the best defender.
