A priest drove a car to a community within Bui division, and kids gathered around the car in excitement. He was curious about their excitement, only to learn that those kids had never seen a car in their lives. No car had been to that place in 5 years, as motorable roads had been cut due to the armed conflict.

Many kids born in some places in NW/SW Cameroon in the last 10 years live so many decades ago, without access to proper education, health and social services

Have you seen the heartbreaking videos of how people have to carry critically sick patients on their heads / shoulder carriages to search for health centres? Or how people have to carry corpses of their loved ones on their heads to get to where they can give a befitting burial? I saw a photo yesterday of the manner in which someone's mortal remains were tied to sit up straight on a motorcycle, using sticks attached to the bike with rubber bands...!
