In addition to visiting Nigeria nine times, Pope Leo has spoken out against persecution of Christians in that country at least half a dozen times in his short pontificate so far. This falsehood that some Catholics are irresponsibly repeating that the pope is silent on Christian persecution in Africa is flat out false. Here are just a handful of his statements (not all).
"I had never seen anyone virtue-signal so gracefully, so effortlessly. I was like, 'I have to work with this guy.'"
😂😂😂😂
Meet Cory Booker's (fake) political consultant, played by Zeteo's very own @heycappello.
"No one does it like Cory."
The sheer audacity of this thread is breathtaking. You’re ranting about economic dependence while sipping on goods moved by California ports, living off federal subsidies your state didn’t earn, and whining that the coasts are somehow the problem.
Let’s get a few things straight:
1. Blue states fund you – California, New York, and Massachusetts pay more into the federal government than they get back. Red states? Takers. You cash the checks, we write them.
2. Imported labor? Sure. Because your states didn’t build institutions that attract talent. Tech boomed in California because people moved there with ideas and innovation. Don’t hate the brain drain; fix your schools.
3. Agriculture & water? Look up the Central Valley. California produces 1/3 of America’s vegetables and 2/3 of its fruits and nuts. If California vanished, your grocery store would look like a Depression-era pantry.
4. Manufacturing died in red states not because of blue-state voters, but because Republican lawmakers sold you out to free trade deals they now pretend to hate.
5. Textiles? Vietnam makes your shirts because billionaires lobbied to crush unions and offshored your jobs. And now you’re mad at me for pointing that out?
You’re just projecting. You’re mad the cities you sneer at built the economic engine that pays for the highway you drive on and the check your state cashes every year.
You want to lecture me on gratitude?
Start by thanking California. Then thank the USPS for carrying this L across state lines.
@DiscussingFilm Sad to see him leaving so early. Warner’s career spanned diverse roles, including directing music videos and episodes of popular sitcoms, and his Grammy win in 2015 for Best Urban Contemporary Album highlights his lesser-known musical talent, adding depth to his public legacy.
