I had the honour of accompanying our leader, @HEInuwaYahaya, alongside the @OfficialAPCNg National Chairman, Professor @nentawe1, and Arc. Yunusa Yakubu , on a courtesy visit to the residence of Distinguished Senator Usman Bayero Nafada.

We were warmly received, and our discussions centered on unity, shared values, and the continued progress of our dear state. Moments like this reinforce our collective commitment to sustaining the gains achieved and advancing the development of Gombe State.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Alhaji Shehu Usman Abdullahi, husband of Hajiya Sadiya Ibrahim Biu, GM of Progress Radio and Television, Gombe.

He was a man of quiet strength, integrity, and enterprise whose life touched many. This loss is not only to his family but to all who knew him.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to Hajiya Sadiya, their children, the Abdullahi family, and the entire Progress Radio community.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his loved ones the strength to bear this loss. Ameen.

Today, I had the honour of meeting with Engr. Aliyu Mohammed (Kombat), one of Gombe State’s most outstanding young entrepreneurs and a shining example of purposeful youth leadership.

Engr. Kombat has consistently distinguished himself through his unwavering commitment to uplifting our people both within and outside the state by deploying his resources, influence, and goodwill in support of critical sectors such as education and healthcare. His contributions continue to touch lives and strengthen communities across Gombe State.

During the visit, we engaged in extensive and meaningful discussions centred on the future of Gombe State, with particular emphasis on sustaining and consolidating the progress already achieved across all sectors of development. It was both inspiring and reassuring to encounter a young leader of such admirable character, deep patriotism, and genuine passion for the advancement of our state.

Our conversation, warm and brotherly in nature, explored practical pathways for ensuring continuity, sustainability, and inclusive growth. I was profoundly impressed, though not surprised by Engr. Kombat’s strong sense of responsibility, his visionary outlook, and his readiness to support any cause that is sincerely committed to the development of Gombe State.

Indeed, this kind of noble intention and selfless dedication is exactly what our society needs from its youth. It is the foundation upon which a prosperous and united future can be built.

I deeply appreciate the alignment between our shared vision for Gombe State and his own aspirations for the growth and empowerment of our people, especially the youth.

I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to raise more young men and women like Engr. Aliyu Mohammed (Kombat); individuals driven by integrity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the progress of our dear state.

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of Hon. Ibrahim El-Hassan Kwami (Sarkin Sudan Kwami).

His demise is a great loss not only to his immediate family and the people of Kwami, but also to all who knew him as a man of dignity, humility, and service. He lived a life marked by commitment to his people and unwavering dedication to community development.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, the good people of Kwami, and all those affected by this painful loss.

I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives his family the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss. Ameen.

It was an honour to accompany my leader, @HEInuwaYahaya, CON, to the official flag-off of the Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe–Biu–Maiduguri Super Highway in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.

This strategic project, launched on behalf of President @officialABAT, GCFR, by the @OfficialAPCNg National Chairman, Prof. @nentawe1, is a vital part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, focused on connecting Nigeria’s coastal, savannah, and Sahel regions through modern infrastructure.

As rightly noted by our leader, @HEInuwaYahaya, "this super highway is a legacy project with a far-reaching impact set to boost trade, reduce travel time, enhance security, create jobs and strengthen unity by connecting communities and markets across multiple geopolitical zones."

I also joined His Excellency, @HEInuwaYahaya, at the commissioning of the Akwanga Underpass and dualised township roads by Governor Abdullahi Sule, commendable projects that reflect purposeful leadership and a commitment to improving the lives of the people.

These milestones reinforce our collective resolve to support visionary leadership and sustainable development for the progress of our nation and the prosperity of our people.

My sincere appreciation also goes to the leadership of our great party, the @OfficialAPCNg, at both the national and state levels, for their confidence in me, as well as to all party members and supporters whose trust and belief made this moment possible.

Today in Gombe will remain a deeply significant moment in my life and political journey.

I am profoundly honoured by the endorsement of our National Chairman, Professor @nentawe1 , who publicly raised my hand and affirmed me as the @OfficialAPCNg ’s gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections. I receive this with utmost humility and a full sense of responsibility.

I wish to express my deepest gratitude to His Excellency, President @officialABAT, GCFR, for his visionary leadership, steadfast commitment to national development, and for building a stronger and more united All Progressives Congress. Your leadership continues to inspire confidence and direction across the nation.

My sincere appreciation also goes to my leader and mentor, @HEInuwaYahaya, CON, whose tireless efforts, commitment to good governance, and remarkable developmental strides in Gombe State have laid a solid foundation for continuity, growth, and prosperity. The commissioning of the 11.5km Kwadon–Kunji–Jada–Goni Bukar–Laleko Road and the 150 shops NALDA Vegetable Market in Kwadon further reflects our collective commitment to infrastructure, economic empowerment, and the wellbeing of our people.

I am inspired, I am grateful, and I am fully committed to serving Gombe State with dedication, integrity, and purpose.

Today, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating 27 years of uninterrupted democratic governance, a journey marked by resilience, progress, and hope for a greater nation.

Democracy has provided us with the platform to grow, to build, and to strengthen our institutions. While we celebrate our achievements, we must also remain committed to the values that sustain democracy; unity, peace, participation, and accountability.

I commend the leadership of President @officialABAT for taking bold steps to reform our economy and reposition Nigeria for a stronger future. These efforts require our collective support and patience as we build a more resilient nation together.

Here in Gombe State, I salute @HEInuwaYahaya, for his transformative leadership. The strides made in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment are visible and impactful, reflecting a clear vision for sustainable development.

As we mark this important day, I call on all citizens, especially our youth and women to actively participate in the democratic process. Register, collect your Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), and make your voices count as we approach the 2027 general elections.
