The talented star, best known for playing Shaan Naidoo-Maistry on Generations, was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, stage 3 kidney failure, and a severe lung disease called COPD.

Because of these terrible illnesses, Thahira is no longer able to work, leaving her with no steady income while she tries to pay for her very expensive medical care. Her close friend and former co-star, Rosie Motene, has stepped in to ask the public for help because Thahira urgently needs over R300,000 to cover her chemotherapy and surgery costs.
