The funniest part is that Aaron Rupar went to the same high school as Pete Hegseth.
Rupar has probably never attempted a failing set in his life, while Hegseth was an All-State basketball player who set multiple school three-point records and graduated as valedictorian.
While I respect the Chairman’s authority to make this decision, I would have preferred a different approach.
One of the principles that has always made America exceptional is our faith in the people. We do not strengthen our party or our republic by limiting debate; we strengthen it by trusting voters to evaluate ideas, weigh arguments, and make informed decisions for themselves.
The American experiment has endured because we have never been afraid of competing viewpoints. Open discussion, vigorous debate, and the free exchange of ideas are not weaknesses of our system: they are its greatest strengths.
I believe Republican voters are more than capable of deciding who best represents our party’s values and vision for Florida. My confidence has always been, and will remain, in the wisdom of the voters.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said the state GOP should be holding a gubernatorial debate ahead of its Sunshine State Showdown gathering later this month. https://t.co/cEiR4Wyfml
The Florida GOP needs a revamp and ASAP!
You do not get to choose who republicans can see or vote for and this is right out of the democrat playbook!
Disgusting!
Let Republicans debate, let voters decide. This is not an oligarchy!!
Awesome to see the entire USA team standing with their hand on their heart and singing the National Anthem before their first match of the World Cup. Let’s go @USMNT 💯🇺🇸💯🇺🇸
.@ScottJenningsKY just torched the liberal meltdown over Elon becoming the world's first trillionaire:
“All day long, I've been listening to liberals, count and spend Elon's money for him. This envy, jealousy, hatred of success. Why is it immoral? Why is it wrong for somebody in our system, our capitalist system, in the greatest nation on earth, to go out and build a company, build companies, build technologies, go into space, aim to go put a colony on Mars, give internet to half the world, all the things he's doing? Why is any of this wrong or bad? Why would we want to discourage entrepreneurship? Why would we want to discourage anybody building anything?”
Exactly. Success isn't a crime.
Tomorrow is Flag Day! We invite everyone to post a picture of themself on X in front of an American flag.
The best picture wins $5,000 cash, and an additional $5,000 will be donated in the winner's name to the veterans organization of their choice.
We love our veterans 🇺🇸
Someone told me to go look at a statement put out by the RPOF's executive director, Bill Helmich, and I just noticed he blocked me. I have never had direct contact with him, yet, he blocked me. I also just noticed that the National Republican Chairman, Joe Gruters, has blocked me. I already knew that the RPOF's, Evan Powers, had blocked me from both his account and the FLGOP website. This isn't surprising. They hate dissenting opinions and are running the GOP like dictators. I will continue to criticize their dirty election tactics and lack of respect for Republican voters. They could block me to oblivion for all I care. 😂
The FL GOP might be vastly underestimating the resolve of the DeSantis base to not have in our state primary what happened in our presidential primary.
Florida doesn’t like coronations and no debates.
Attention: Conservatives Thinking about Moving to Florida...
You're thinking about moving to Florida because we are a red state and well governed by Ron DeSantis. You only see what you see on Fox News.
But there is an ugly side to Republican politics in Florida and you need to understand that once DeSantis is gone, things will change and not for the better if a) Byron Donalds is elected and b) the current crop of Florida GOP leadership isn't run out on a rail. Don't be fooled by Donalds constant interviews on FoxNews. He's not what he seems.
These people will turn this state purple. They will bow down to Big Weed, Big Ag, Big Development, and Big Tech. Everything will be for sale.
This decision alone will stain the Republican Party of Florida permanently
A disturbing abuse of power by political insiders
The RPOF must reverse course ASAP
Florida voters deserve a debate.
Instead, the newly announced criteria mean there may not be a debate at all.
Governor Ron DeSantis says there should be a debate. I agree. Florida doesn't need an 'engineered outcome'.
Let's have the debate.

It seems reasonable to ask @RoKhanna, who has popularized the term Epstein Class, which some call antisemitism, who exactly he is referring to. Is Elon Musk in Epstein Class? Is George Soros? A list would be great.
LET THEM SPEAK!
While I respect the Chairman’s authority to make this decision, I would have preferred a different approach.
The FL GOP should not be selecting our next Governor like the Dems did with Kamala Harris.
Republican voters are more than capable of deciding who best represents our party’s values and vision for Florida. My confidence has always been, and will remain, in the wisdom of the voters.
An incredible and historic night for @USMNT!
I was honored to join over 70,000 fans for the first game of the FIFA World Cup 2026 hosted in the United States. 🇺🇸
It's time for all Republican Registered supporters of the candidates running against Byron Donalds and those Republicans who are Undecided to pull their forces together and demand a real gubernatorial debate from the FLGOP! Donalds isn't the only candidate, and Republican voters deserve a robust debate on policy!
When @PeteButtigieg got $1.2 TRILLION to fix America’s roads and bridges… then said the money would be used to tear down racist roads.
A moment so absurdly woke even Al Sharpton shot him a look that said, “Brother…. you crazy.”
