Come learn with me:
Infodemic is too much information including false or misleading information in digital and physical environments during a disease outbreak (WHO, 2003).
Ways by which we can flatten the infodemic curve includes;

It is imperative for countries to develop resilient health systems because it ensures adequate and effective prevention, preparation, detection, adaption , response and recovery from public health threats while ensuring the maintenance of quality, essential and routine health..
Class was very insightful today and it baffled me to know and learn that Ashes can be used in rural areas to curb the smell of pit latrines by pouring it into and around the latrines.
It can also be used to wash hands in places where there is no access to soaps!
Hoping this area of knowledge is researched in-depth and taught as a strategy of health advocacy. Thank you West African Institute of Public Health for this opportunity to learn something this great!
Key notes from yesterday's class with Mr Clement Avoka;
1. Health financing enables progress towards universal health coverage by improving effective service coverage.
2. Health financing protects the healthcare users from financial poverty.
After a well taught session today, it can be agreed that health financing is needed to achieve UHC.
Class was good and very well taught with live lesson to make explanation easier and more relatable.
