@mytleague@emoviolence3 Well played size. Best joke I heard came from an Alaskan that was in a group that had a Texan talking about how big Texas is, "we'll cut Alaska in 2 and make Texas the 3rd largest state". Reaction was classic!
@FloridaThales I use the shit out of my Ryobi on the farm. We have Dewalt and Milwaukee as well. Burned all three brands up at various times. My Ryobi drill conquered the cedars tonapy 22(. Ryobi saw cut 3 in drill stem for fencing just fine. Ryobi works.
@Nathan_Linus@Srm67@WheatLife Gly, as a systemic herbicide, doesn't even work to dry the plant. If "sprayed right at harvest" as you said in a post, that isn't gly because it can take up to 2 wks to work.
@Nathan_Linus@Srm67@WheatLife The US has never banned RU ready wheat because it has never existed outside a trial that went no where. Also, gly is not labeled as a desiccant in either the US or Canada so using it as such is illegal.
@Lazy_Rancher@GGunthorp Much bigger. Pork, CARB next will be restrictions on CPC that don't fall in line with CA. Before long farmers will have to deal with Sacramento where they don't care vs DC where they can at least appeal to their member of Congress.
@dysangelistes@30ASeawitch@AndrewKaufmanMD Does your opinion of long term poisoning also apply to invasive plants that can emit toxins/poisons to keep other plants away? Poison hemlock and spotted knapweed are just 2 examples.
@dysangelistes@30ASeawitch@AndrewKaufmanMD But invasives are never good. Cedars and Russian olive to name a few can and will drastically out compete native species and once they are established almost impossible to get rid of. Invasives are not good for natural flora or fauna.
@dysangelistes@30ASeawitch@AndrewKaufmanMD Depends if you want native trees or invasive species to succeed in forest regrowth. Trees take time to establish and grow, invasive species don't.
@30ASeawitch@AndrewKaufmanMD He has a product to hauk and has to stoke fear to make money. O different than the rest of them. They take advantage of people through the stoking of fear with lies and mistruths.
@iheartamericana@AndrewKaufmanMD Hahaha! Looks like iheartamericana blocked me because he can't actually have a discussion on ag and resorts to attacks. Pretty typical and not surprising.
@iheartamericana@AndrewKaufmanMD Oh I don't know about that. We've used gmos and proper CPC on our farm since 1996. We been able to change farming practices to no-till and min-till. Have better soil quality and more biodiversity than ever. Water samples come back very clean.
@MrHarmoniouis@AndrewKaufmanMD Toxic GMO practices? Are you talking soley about agriculture or do you want modern medicine to abandon GMOs as well? What about food peoduction because without gmo derived emzymes many products wouldn't be available or not available in an real quanity.
@Stevemac270 The argument against science is fascinating to me. They demand ag goes backwards but want the latest and greatest stuff. They have a problem with Bt corn but have no problem with Bt being sprayed OTT of organic crops. They hate "chemcials" but then can't say what a chem is.
