Construction at the Kazaure Railway Station, part of the Kano–Maradi–Dutse Railway Project, is progressing steadily. The Kano–Maradi–Dutse railway corridor will include 20 stations, five workshops, 52 bridges, and more than 80 road crossings. Upon completion, it is expected to transport up to 3,000 metric tons of freight and about 9,374 passengers daily. It will also connect seamlessly with the Lagos–Kano railway line to enhance regional connectivity, boost trade, improve mobility and drive our economic growth.

Troops intercept two suspected Boko Haram logistics suppliers, seize 750 litres of petrol in Yobe

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested two suspected Boko Haram logistics suppliers and recovered a large quantity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) during a snap checkpoint operation in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation was conducted at about 3:30 p.m. on June 24 by troops of the 27 Task Force Brigade Garrison following credible intelligence on the movement of suspected terrorist collaborators along the Buni Gari–Bara road.

The suspects were identified as Lawali Alhaji Yunusa and Musa Ibrahim Baguwa, both natives of Kukawa Ward in Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State.

Items recovered from the suspects include two TVS motorcycles, 30 jerrycans of 25 litres each filled with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), amounting to about 750 litres of fuel, one Tecno mobile phone and the sum of ₦49,650.

Military sources said the suspects and the recovered exhibits are currently in the custody of the 27 Task Force Brigade Garrison for further investigation to establish their links with Boko Haram logistics networks.

The arrest is part of ongoing efforts by Operation HADIN KAI to disrupt the supply chain sustaining terrorist activities in the North-East by intercepting fuel, food and other logistics destined for insurgent enclaves.

As Jigawa State prepares to host J-INVEST 2026, it is important to reflect on some of the landmark investments that have laid the foundation for the state's industrial and economic transformation.

On 27th February 2024, Governor Mallam Umar Namadi commissioned and launched COMTTRAJIGAWA, the Hibiscus Processing Plant at the Maigatari Export Processing Zone. Established through a partnership between the Jigawa State Government and Comttraex Nigeria Limited, the project marked a significant step towards agricultural value addition, export promotion, job creation, and economic diversification.

Olusegun Obasanjo mai shekaru 94 ya rubuta wasiƙa mai taɓa zuciya ga ’yan Najeriya. Shin hakan na nufin yana shirin barin duniya? Ga abin da ya rubuta:

’Yan uwana ’yan ƙasa,

Mutane suna cewa rayuwa tana da tsawo. Suna cewa, “Ka rayu a hankali, lokaci yana da yawa.” Amma ni ina da shekaru 94 yanzu, kuma zan iya cewa da tabbaci cewa hakan ba gaskiya ba ne. Rayuwa ba ta da tsawo; tana wucewa kamar ƙiftawar ido. Yayin da nake gab da barin wannan duniya, zuciyata na son in bar muku wasu darussa.

Na tara dukiya, na samu girma da suna, amma yau duk waɗannan suna kama da ƙura a kusurwar ɗakina. Idan na miƙa hannu yanzu, babu ɗaya daga cikinsu da zai bi ni.

Darasi na Farko: Kada Ka Rayu Cikin Jira

Babban ɓangaren rayuwata ya shuɗe cikin jira.

A makaranta, na yi tunanin rayuwa za ta fara ne bayan na sami takardar shaidar kammala karatu.

Da na samu aiki a soja, sai na riƙa jiran ƙarshen mako.

Da na yi aure, sai na riƙa jiran yarana su girma.

Da suka girma, sai na fara jiran ritaya.

Na ɗauki kowace rana a matsayin wata mataki ce kawai, ina tunanin ainihin rayuwa tana gaba. Amma yanzu na gane cewa babu wata manufa ta ƙarshe; tafiyar kanta ita ce rayuwa.

Darasi na Biyu: Zinariya Ba Abinci Ba Ce

Na kwashe shekaru 50 ina tara dukiya. Na yi aiki tuƙuru har na rasa lokuta masu muhimmanci tare da iyalina.

Na sayi manyan gidaje, motoci masu tsada da kayan alatu, amma yanzu da nake gab da tafiya, na gane cewa babu ɗaya daga cikin waɗannan da zai bi ni.

Har yanzu ina tuna ranar da ɗiyata ta kira ni zuwa lambu domin in ga wata ƙaramar ƙwari da ta gano. Na ce mata, “Ba yanzu ba, ina aiki.” Yau har yanzu ina jin zafin wannan lokacin da na rasa.

Darasi na Uku: Rushe Katangar Da Ke Zuciyarka

A lokacin ƙuruciyata, na yi tunanin nuna tausayi ko neman afuwa alama ce ta rauni.

Ina da wani ɗan’uwa da muka taso tare. Wata rana muka yi saɓani kan wani ƙaramin abu. Ban tuna ma abin da ya jawo ba yanzu.

Na jira shi ya fara neman sulhu. Shekaru suka shuɗe. Wata rana aka kira ni aka ce ya mutu.

A lokacin ne na gane cewa na yi daidai, amma na rasa ɗan’uwana.

Idan kana son wani, ka gaya masa yau. Idan ka yi kuskure, ka nemi afuwa yau. Gobe ba ta da tabbas.

Darasi na Hudu: Tsoro Inuwa Ce Kawai

Ina da shekaru 22 lokacin da nake son zama marubuci. Ina da littafin rubutu cike da mafarkai da labarai.

Amma ban taɓa rubuta littafin ba saboda tsoron a yi min dariya ko in gaza.

Yanzu hannuwana suna rawa, idanuna sun yi rauni. Wannan littafin har yanzu yana cikina.

Babban abin takaici a rayuwa ba mutuwa ba ce; mafarkan da muka kashe tun muna raye ne.

Kada ka ci gaba da jinkirta abin da zuciyarka ke so. Ka fara yau. Ko da ka faɗi, aƙalla za ka ce, “Na yi ƙoƙari.”

Kammalawa

Agogona na ƙara yin ƙara a kunnena yanzu. Na ajiye damuwa, girman kai da tsoro.

Kai har yanzu kana raye. Kana da wata rana.

Kada ka ɓata ta.

Ka kalli hannuwanka. Ka motsa yatsunka. Ka ji numfashinka.

Duk wannan ni’ima ce.
