In light of recent unconfirmed reports that Nepal government plans to retire several thousand senior bureaucrats, if done it isn't the first time. After 2048 election, when Nepali Congress at that time got majority, then government also forcibly retired around 4 thousand senior civil servants to speed up their agenda, 2048-51 is the period where a lot of liberalization took place in Nepal. We need even more of that but, question Are senior bureaucrats able to help speed that reform or we need a radical approach.
