❌ But this simply can’t happen without a strong global surgical workforce.

🤯 Did you know that most #LMICs have a paediatric surgeon density of < 0.1 per 100,000 against a recommended 1 per 100,000 children?

🤔 So why do #LMIC hospitals remain so understaffed, when it's clear how 🔑 this resource is to building sustainable health systems?
