On the third anniversary of Russia’s further invasion of Ukraine 🇺🇦, we honour the sacrifice of the men and women who have defended their country against Putin’s unprovoked act of aggression.
Ukraine’s struggle is not merely for territory, but for sovereignty. For the principles of liberty and the rule of law. For the value we assign to freedom.
Britain has always been clear that it is for the Ukrainian people to determine their own future. To accept anything less would be to forsake their sovereignty and abandon our values.
We must pursue a peace which is both just and sustainable. Handing Putin a victory now would undermine the security of Europe and the West, and embolden those who seek to threaten our way of life.
It’s good to be back on this platform after a while. Here’s my new-ish op ed in the Herald Sun. I’ll post another next week. I’d love your thoughts, especially if you disagree with me.
One of the most unhinged interviews ever.
Even Sky presenter Laura Jayes seemed baffled.
Tears were streaming down my face when this mother cited supply of 'ergonomic chairs for the boys' as one of the reasons she chose this school for her sons.

40 years ago, a typical single-family home in Greater Boston sold for $79.4k—about 4.5X a Boston Public School teacher’s salary. Today, that home would go for nearly 11X what that teacher makes now. We must bring down costs, which means we need more supply—plain-old Econ 101.
In this brutal takedown of Tory NIMBYism The Times doesn’t miss - neither on policy, nor the politics.
Young people have many elections in which to punish those who abandon them.
“If they don’t have an allocated worker, what that means is they don’t have anyone who’s checking in with them, which is meant to happen fortnightly,” says @CCYPVictoria@BuchananLiana.

@GrattanInst@MarionTerrill Marion’s widely regarded as the best for good reason. Policy makers will be coming back to the work she’s done at Grattan for a very long time.
Despite young people still being housed at Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre a film crew was still able to get permission to be inside the high security facility for production of a @TheGuyPearce movie https://t.co/6zVKUSogrC
It’s time to clean up Victoria. My piece in today’s Herald Sun on the Ombudsman’s damning report on the politicisation of the public service under Jacinta Allan and Daniel Andrews. JP

I’m a little biased, yet I think the members in our region make excellent decisions.
Richard brings a wealth of experience and expertise from the private sector with him.
He’ll make a great contribution in the Parliament. Many congratulations!
Congratulations to Richard Welch who has been selected to fill the Casual Vacancy for the North-Eastern Metropolitan Region in the Victorian Legislative Council. 👏🏻
The return of hostages and the total destruction of Hamas are, clearly, morally defensible aims.
Yet an extended conflict in Gaza, with all the destruction that goes with it, will probably prove counter-productive.
I explain in my new article👇 https://t.co/7hTO3FMcNH
