@Divoti Hello,
I just received my medic alert bracelet. The information was correct, but the band was size 6 instead of 8.0. And I had ordered 2 of the 8.0 bands! The bracelet is useless to me like it is. I am not getting any help anywhere. Can you please assist me?

So true‼️ It’s not unusual to wait 3-6 months for specialty doctor appointments! 🤷♀️ As a person with #chronicillnesses this can be very problematic even with lots of planning. We need to work together to help solve #healthcare crisis in this country. @Back2backPT@CreakyJoints
If you’ve been waiting months for your next doctor’s appointment, you’re certainly not alone.

Alzheimer's is showing to be largely a lifestyle disease. A new study showing gut health may impact the potential of getting Alzheimer's. Sugar is now being shown to disrupt the highly important bacteria in our gut which governs hormones & more.
Alzheimer's is now being referred to as Type 3 Diabetes. When we eat sugar, we are feeding the unhealthy gut bacteria - creating an abundance of them leading to health issues down the road.
Family caregivers are the backbone of our long-term care system, and they are in desperate need of more support. We applaud today’s Executive Order recognizing the need to make family caregivers a national priority.

@Doitwell01@CreakyJoints Yes I do. I’ve done a fair bit of research and the doctors tend to come in with more of a bias towards women not being able to tolerate pain, which as we know, is not the case. We still have a long way to go…one step at a time👣

Hi Everyone 👋 I’m checking in from the NE coast of MA🌊 It’s strange to say that I am excited about the topic of “medical gaslighting” but I think that it needs to be discussed and addressed as it happens far too often!

A4 You know your body best. Make sure to advocate for yourself. When you’re not feeling well it helps 2bring someone w/you 2help when you’re not at your strongest. If you have rare disease, it’s harder. Be prepared. You know a lot! 😊

A1 I’ve experienced medical #gaslighting start in 1980’s: MD’s didn’t have answers, for ex. w/ endometriosis 🤷♀️ In >recent years I’ve had MDs see Dx: chronic… & that’s enough to gaslight me 😱 even when I lectured for some of their 🏨B4!

FDA releases new regs intended to help detect breast cancer sooner https://t.co/Zs9gY0XuAG Anyone have #densebreasttissue ❓ Add that to family history of #breastcancer & you may want to read‼️ @US_FDA
I’ve had major problems w/ #autorefills I noticed pharmacy was calling my doctors 2refill without my permission‼️ The names weren’t even ones I knew‼️ I also moved & called many times to transfer script’s: pharm kept filling. DANGEROUS‼️ Makes Pt look bad in MD eyes2: lose trust!
I'm gonna get real honest w/a msg to PBMs and any pharmacy that performs auto-refill of meds. (thread)
Auto-refills can be and are very dangerous. It's a reasonable assumption that if the pharmacy fills the med, it's b/c the pt should be taking it. This is especially .... (1/x)
