For the love of peace, please read the Katzenbach Commission report & the Kerner Commission report. Many of the problems we are facing as a society are documented in them. Many conclusions & solutions to our problems recorded in there have never been attempted to be implemented.
Buried in this 162 page report is the tell. The White House suggests the Smithsonian's flagship history museum needs a warning label at the entrance, because the exhibits inside were "prepared by people who don't want you to love your country."
Read that twice. The material getting flagged as unpatriotic includes slavery, exclusion, and the treatment of Native nations, things that happened, documented in the federal government's own archives. A warning label on accurate history is not a correction. It is a request for the museum to stop telling visitors things that are true.
The same report also demands the museum "correctly identify what a woman is" in an exhibit that happens to profile a transgender teenager, and separately flags "anti-White activism" as a category alongside slavery and conquest. That is not a fact-check. That is a content mandate, dressed up as one.
I still think this is the most incredible Austin Wells stat to me
Austin Wells' last recorded WALK was on May 31st @ ATH. He has gone 48 straight plate appearances since then without recording one walk.
17 K's - 0 BB's
In this same span, he has 3 hits:
3-47 with 3 RBIs
0.064/0.064/0.085
MLB running BS ads about a salary cap. Rather than negotiating in good faith with the players, they are now negotiating with the fans so when there is a strike, fans turn on the players. Absolutely gross.
The court strikes down President Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship, holding that children born in the U.S. to parents unlawfully or temporarily present are “subject to the jurisdiction” of the U.S. and are citizens at birth.

Knowing this conservative tick is so helpful because the second someone drops it in conversation you know they’re pickled beyond belief and can stop engaging
my favorite thing about this clip is that he calls it the “Democrat Socialists of America” because Republicans are so hardwired to say “Democrat” instead of “Democratic”
Each proposed change makes it clear that the owners have no intention to negotiate in good faith. A salary cap, offloading development, and limiting contracts indicate that cutting costs is paramount and that competitive balance is an afterthought. They do not care about baseball
"Way better than those libtards who canceled on us."
In one sentence, Duffy both complains about the musical acts who canceled and completely legitimizes their stated reason for doing so.
@cfnps@UnderdogMLB Presumably, the Cubs could have then challenged that the Mets player obstructed the player’s advance of an awarded base. They didn’t. We do not know if replay would have overturned the safe call.
