Loading data is a known obstacle to quantum advantage. In extensive numerical experiments (w/ finance, proteins, fluids, & images) our new algo was able to load data with surprisingly short circuit depths. #intellabs#QuantumComputing

To further highlight this piece, we distinguish between four advantage contexts: Theoretical, Experimental, and Operational. The last one is key – operational advantages are ones that are of sufficient maturity to translate into applied settings.
To realize these operational advantages in the domains of biology and medicine – ones that are sufficiently robust to overcome organizational inertia, the incumbent advantages of classical approaches, etc. – use case development by domain researchers will be critical.
