@grahamwettone I have posted this before but obviously needs done again. I lost my leg whilst on duty, I was lucky, I got to go home to my family (eventually). I wear this cover on my leg to remember the cops that were not so lucky, there is no other reason......
@ScottGalbraith7 @SurreyRoadCops Had high-viz, red and blue lights, fully marked police car and two legs before being hit. Some people just don't or are incapable or driving to conditions.

@PoliceMedics As a serving response cop all I can say is that a make shift tourniquet (belt and fast straps) undoubtedly saved my life, unfortunately not my leg. The proper training in the use of tourniquets and the personal issue of them should be introduced NOW no more serious consideration!
