@Weasel9100 jon is in 1st place when he doesn’t need it and u are complaining about angie being in 4th place when she needs every dollar she can get? let people donate to what they want but angie actually needs more campaign dollars while jon ossoff has raised $100M already. stop funding jon
@Forever_noir_ she is clearly a socdem based on how she describes her politics. she owns a café and banned bookstore. meaning a literal capitalist who wants to strongly regulate capitalism (a socdem). i think socdems, marxists, maoists, tankies, anarkiddies, & demsocs are all valuable to DSA.
@charybdeez It cost the DSA 0 resources to accept Angie Nixon, a socdem, into the organization. It actually gave the DSA resources through her dues. She didn’t get any national or local DSA endorsement. They voted for her and no funds were spent. Her dues can fund real socialist organizing.
@RevolverJerm Who is “DSA”? She was never endorsed by the national DSA nor any local FL DSA chapters. It cost the DSA 0 resources to accept Angie Nixon into the organization. It actually gave the DSA resources through her dues. They voted for her and her dues can fund real socialist organizing
@EcoTechBro It cost the DSA 0 resources to accept Angie Nixon into the organization, it actually gave the DSA resources through her dues. She didn’t get an endorsement from the national DSA nor any local FL DSA chapters. Which means that even they voted for her and no funds were spent.

@KatzTrm@SFHTUnion AOC is a social democrat. she wants some industries nationalized (like healthcare) but not every one. she identifies as a democratic socialist but her signature policy vision is the green new deal. which is just FDR’s social democratic new deal adapted for the 21st century.
@SFHTUnion I agree I just wanted to clarify that Angie is a social democrat, not a democratic socialist based on the way she describes her politics and running a business. if you wish to expel the social democrats in the DSA for ideological cohesion that’s okay. I’m not a social democrat.
@KatzTrm@SFHTUnion i never said the DSA were capitalists. all i said was that angie nixon is a social democrat, not a democratic socialist. social democrats are capitalist. she herself is a capitalist by being a business owner. if you want to purge the social democrats in the DSA go ahead.
@barbarismcrit if you want to purge the socdems from the DSA go ahead i’m on board. she is a capitalist though, she owns a café and banned book store in jacksonville. what i love about the dsa is that it’s a big tent for a reason. it’s meant to include everyone from socdems to maoists.
@nnjpolitics the dccc not investing in MI-7 is pure pettiness. it’s the closest district in a swing state. allocating ZERO resources for a district that has a PVI of EVEN is brain dead. will is flipping the district regardless but it goes to shows that “blue no matter who” was never real.
