@TelcoDR and Ryan Alvarez, CEO of VIVA Bolivia, just wrapped a fireside chat at TM Forum Innovate Americas on the capital question network data can't answer: which sites should you NOT upgrade.

Short version: traffic and density show demand. They don't show payback.

@Totogi made a money machine!

The 5G investment story in telco isn’t what anyone in the industry hoped for. We’ve poured a trillion dollars into building these networks, but revenue growth remains stubbornly flat. It’s the same challenge we faced with 4G, and it’s becoming the de facto problem of the industry. With 6G already on the horizon, we need to crack this revenue code now.

But what if I told you Totogi has cracked it? We’ve built something that turns your existing network data into guaranteed revenue growth.

Not 1-2% improvements.

Not some fancy PowerPoint with theoretical models
promising future results.

I’m talking about a 10% revenue boost in 12 weeks—and we have 20% growth in sight. All we need to make this work for YOU are your event detail records (EDRs), and we can start printing money NOW.

Let me tell you how we helped a Tier-1 operator in EMEA turn its 15+ million subscribers into a revenue-generating powerhouse. Like most telcos, it was using traditional Customer Value Management (CVM) software that barely squeezed out a 1-2% revenue uplift. You know how this software works: Marketing teams analyze data, manually design offers, and then watch them crawl through various systems before finally reaching subscribers. By the time these offers hit customers’ phones, weeks or months have passed, and the revenue opportunity has vanished into thin air. Even the “successful” CVM programs max out at 5% improvement.

Enter Totogi’s radically different approach. Our money machine—PlanAI—harnesses the power of AWS SageMaker and generative AI to create hyper-personalized, real-time offers for individual subscribers. We’re not talking about broad-brush marketing campaigns: these are precision-targeted offers and smart bundles tailored specifically to how each person uses the network. Think of it as giving every subscriber their own personal CMO who knows exactly what offer to present, at the precise moment the subscriber is ready to buy. The only twist? Humans aren’t designing these offers—it’s all being done by AI, and it’s working better than any human ever could.

The operator’s marketing team started slowly, supervising AI-generated offers while testing designs on small groups, or “cohorts.” The hardest part? Convincing the humans to step aside and let AI do the work. Our system can push out new campaigns in minutes, not weeks. That kind of speed was unheard of in their old world. Once they stopped trying to control the system and saw it in action, they wanted to push it out to more and more subscribers. When we finally let AI work its magic, the money started flowing in.
Here are the eye-popping results:

📈 13% drop in inactive subscribers

💰 60% increase in offer acceptance (from 4.8% to 7.9%)

📱 105% increase in data usage from personalized offers

🚀 10% increase in revenue (and growing)

In a pre-paid population, these aren’t just good numbers—they’re industry-changing results. It’s proof that well-executed AI translates directly to revenue, especially at scale. The best part? The system keeps learning and adjusting automatically. It determines optimal timing for offers, refines message tone, and selects the perfect channel for outreach (SMS, email, etc.) to maximize acceptance. Plus, Totogi’s real-time reporting shows the marketing team exactly what’s working, what needs tweaking, and what to test next—no more waiting weeks to see if a campaign succeeded.

Here’s what makes our money machine run at full throttle:

Speed with AI. We spot churn signals and revenue opportunities in real-time, spinning up targeted campaigns in minutes, not weeks. In a world where customers jump ship the second they see a better deal, this speed isn’t just nice to have—it’s survival. You can’t wait weeks to save a customer who’s about to leave tomorrow.

True personalization. Forget spray-and-pray marketing. PlanAI matches people with offers they’ll actually use, based on their real behavior patterns. No more throwing spaghetti at the wall hoping something sticks. Every offer is precision-targeted for maximum impact.

Infinite scalability. Built on the public cloud, PlanAI handles thousands of micro-offers without breaking a sweat. And here’s the genius part: offers exist in our system only when subscribers accept them. That means unlimited experimentation with zero overhead.
Real-time control. No more flying blind. Marketing teams see exactly how every offer performs as it happens. You’re in complete control of your money machine, watching the revenue dial tick up in real-time.

Totogi’s PlanAI isn’t just proof of concept—it’s a proven revenue generator that works TODAY. This money machine delivers whether you’re big or small, 2G or 5G, prepaid or postpaid, in a G8 country or not. No long, complicated setup needed; within months you’ll be up and running, watching your revenue climb. And in today’s telco world, where every percentage point of growth is precious, I guarantee PlanAI will deliver.
Finally, you CAN make money from those massive network investments. Our AI-driven approach to retention and revenue growth isn’t just another vendor promise—it’s a reality that’s already working for operators like you.

Ready to turn on your money machine? Drop me a DM. With a potential 20% revenue boost on the table, what do you have to lose except another quarter of flat growth?

came across this statement today: " What telcos increasingly demand is the freedom to run all or most third-party software on a single platform, horizontally stretched like a Kardashian on a sunbed across the whole operation." who said Telco is not sexy!?

As a telco software vendor, it’s hard to do business in Africa.

Low ARPUs, hard to get hardware into the country, hard to hire talent.

Enter @totogi.

Connect your core to your tenant (in the public cloud) and design a plan, provision a device and rate a data session.

So easy.
