It’s correct that shenanigans have taken place that will likely result in a lot of money flowing to SpaceX that maybe shouldn’t at this time and price. But at high end $2T and 5% float, if index funds take 24% that’s $24B/$30T and only .08%, so no 401ks are getting wrecked.

It’s exploitative because the ipo couldn’t stand on its own two feet and go through the rules like everyone else.
