The show is also conveniently omitting Rhaenyra ruled Dragonstone, was in counsel as a cupbearer since she was a girl & then sat that counsel when she became an adult and used to sit at the foot of her father's throne
"Aegon III came from a long line of warriors and heroes and had been raised on stories of their bold deeds and daring exploits, none of which included fleeing from a battle whilst abandoning your little brother to death."
Aegon always regretted leaving viserys behind.

rhaenyra trusted dragonstone to baela’s protection. baela was so loyal that when aegon came, instead of running she fought and lost her dragon. rhaenyra unknowingly thought dragonstone was still her refuge after the riots. there was love between them.
I really enjoyed the scene between Rhaenyra and the High Septon Balman. The Oldtown hostility toward dragons really comes through here, almost like they would celebrate once the dragons are gone. It also adds to why Eustace's version in FIRE & BLOOD is so unfavorable toward Rhaenyra. The High Septon essentially dismissed Rhaenyra Targaryen as a legitimate queen right to her face, openly undermining her authority. This is an instant classic, definitely one of the best moments in the episode.
#HouseOfTheDragon you are cooking!!
Tonight’s episode is titled ‘Rhaenyra Triumphant’ in reference to the chapter depicting her victory in F&B, ‘Dying of the Dragons— Rhaenyra Triumphant.’
i take issue with how they had rhaenyra crying &shaking while beheading otto and taking the throne. they would not have written it like this if rhaenyra was a man
“The boys who clung to me, who hid their little faces in my skirts, dead, so that I may sit upon a throne of swords.”
“It’s a chair made of steel blades. Rhaenyra had wanted it all her life and had sacrificed two sons for it; She likely gripped the damn thing too tight.”
"Nonsense. It's a chair made of steel blades. Rhaenyra had wanted it all her life and had sacrificed two sons for it, she likely griped the damn thing too tight."

The creator of High Valyrian David Peterson:
"For Sheepstealer, though, "sheep" is bianor and "to steal" is laodigon. It becomes Biāllaodios. Not the simplest name, but Phoebe does a heck of a job with it! I'm very pleased with how it all came out."
im going to be honest with yall; the only reason yall entertain the idea that she isnt a true valyrian is because shes black, and because yall have this weird need to prove the Valyrians arent special despite the Starks being a family of wargs BECAUSE of their bloodline
Insisto, debería ser objeto de estudio como el personaje que canonicamente pasa por un arco de locura está pulcro e impecable mientras los otros dos personajes negros tienen las mismas ropas que hace 2 temporadas y tratos horribles xd
I by no means think hotd is a perfect show but i do think the fandom has a serious case of intentionally misinterpreting what's happening on screen just to get mad at something
"Helaena is neutral/innocent" She's a grown woman infantilized by writers and fans to act as some moral checkmate. Yall would never call Baela, Rhaena, and the Velaryon princes innocent and neutral despite being the actual children also given no choice but to fight for survival.
