Consider funding development of #blockcore, a multi-coin node software in .NET: https://t.co/ZWnFtw4NJ0. $XRC now can be used with it - so for all XRC fans, supporting blockcore is supporting XRC :)
I absolutely never heard of ftx, like all these other shady exchanges, until it collapses. who is giving these people money? it's like another wework thing.
Probably unpopular opinion: bitcoin and the whole market went up just because it was cheap money trying to find a home. But I guess if you got what you need, this is possibly another blip for your holdings.
@Toprolling Free markets don't need causes, just enough people willing to live through the risks they took on. Saylor took a big risk with his company. Any short-term swing in BTC valuation can affect his company's bottom line hard. I expect they know what they bought into.
1. have $1.5 billion, 2. use it all to buy something you barely understand, 3. "regret" the decision after reading one criticism about it. sounds like a sane and constructive investment strategy to me
@JeremyBleez@Toprolling The token contract is designed to burn tokens through force as a form of inflation-control of its unlimited token model, based on investment input. Exceptions are made for those who are on public whale lists. This is how the token can 'go to the moon'.
If your only source of income is W2 wages, you’re missing out on all the good stuff
Employees pay taxes first, then spend what’s left over
Businesses spend first, then pay taxes on what’s left over
Now, that includes food as well
I don't know the full story with #OpenBazaar, I remember I was excited upon the initial release. So I wanted to try it out again yesterday. Website didn't say anything was wrong, so I downloaded and ran. But I couldn't figure out how to restore my account ...
@Toprolling The two laptops (10 year old Thinkpads) I switch between daily are ones that I found in the trash. Throw some nice upgrades to it (had the parts laying around and bought nicer IPS screens for them), use some Linux distro, and they work fine.
If you're blasting BTC for its energy use, you should attack these 1st to optimize impact
-US military
-Air conditioning
-Gold mining
-Clothes dryers
-Vampire electronics draw
etc
If you're not attacking those 1st, maybe it's not BTC's energy use you really have a problem with?
@Toprolling In various municipalities in the US, government employees are guaranteed a yearly return on their pensions. The first time I heard that, I thought: that's a big fat 'ponzi scheme' ... no? Why isn't that considered one, but BTC is to the its 'critics'?
