66TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY: PRESIDENT TINUBU TO ADDRESS THE NATION

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will address the nation on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7 a.m., to mark Nigeria's 66th Independence anniversary.

All television and radio stations, and other electronic media outlets, are advised to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the broadcast.

@IAmSoliuTiamiyu I believed it started with the older generation imbibing their culture of not standing up to elders in us and then it was cemented by the religions who kept enforcing it on us that God's time is the best and a man's Destiny is controlled by God.

I think the biggest delusion we have as Nigerians is thinking you can outwork or hustle harder than a failing economy.

A lot of people focus primarily on the money but not the amenities and infrastructures that's essential for preserving life.

You fit still guide, fall sick make you no see space for hospital, or make light no dey, or no doctor, so many minor things that can kill one in this country.

Do you know that Nigeria has over 44 different minerals resources and yet none of it is taught to Nigerians in public schools. Majority of us only know about the crude oil while these guys just keep our attention there and keep stealing the gold, ore, bitumen among others.
