The funniest part? FIFA will market this as ‘innovation’. Innovation? No. It’s control. Football was the most human sport in the world because of emotion, controversy, chaos, mistakes, that’s what made people fall in love with it. Now everything is engineered.

Soon they’ll have AI referees, automatic red cards, and maybe balls that vibrate when a player dives. We laugh now, but look how fast this nonsense is moving.

And people wonder why old-school fans say modern football has lost its soul. We went from street football to Silicon Valley football in less than 20 years.

Imagine telling Ronaldinho, Zidane, or R9 that one day the World Cup ball would need charging before a final. They would think you were joking.”

Bukan soal performanya di lapangan, tapi kisahnya waktu diizinkan manajemen Internazionale Milano untuk cuti bermain. Kok bisa?

Februari 2005, Burdisso diberitahu keluarganya bahwa sang putri sakit. Hal yang membuat lelaki kelahiran Altos de Chipion itu kaget adalah putrinya didiagnosa terkena leukemia.

Keadaan tersebut disampaikannya kepada Roberto Mancini (pelatih), Giacinto Facchetti (presiden klub) & Massimo Moratti (pemilik klub). Tanpa fafifufufafa, Burdisso dipersilahkan mudik ke Argentina pada tengah kompetisi.

Gak cuma itu karena manajemen I Nerazzurri memberi garansi kepada Burdisso kalau dirinya boleh menemani sang putri menjalani perawatan hingga selesai.

Total, Burdisso menghabiskan waktu selama delapan bulan di kampung halamannya!

Dirinya kembali merumput dengan baju Inter pada Oktober 2005. Pada laga perdananya kembali ke San Siro, Burdisso mendapat standing ovation dari tifosi I Nerazzurri.

I can understand supporting other teams but I don't get this nastiness, this malice toward us. What have we done? Nothing. We go out on the pitch, we work, we play this game. Sometimes we win, we win often, but there are nasty people out there. They want to see us die, you know that Hakan?"

Calhanoglu replies: "They are not serious people, there are good fans out there."

Thuram adds: "Rooting for other teams is fine but it's like you want a Ferrari and I want a Lamborghini. I don't go around saying I want to smash your car... you get it? They want to destroy our team. I want to talk to them, I think I can change them. I understand the whistles, the boos, but telling me that I should die in private messages, that's a no right there."
