@elonmusk
Dear Elon,
In these critical days, the people of Iran need internet access. Please help them stay connected as they struggle to reclaim their country from the rule of the mullahs. Stand with the Iranian people. Iran will not forget its friends.
Science thrives on collaboration. The #TravelBan breaks those bridges by excluding students who could be tomorrow’s innovators and researchers.
This isn’t security—it’s lost opportunity.

Dear President Trump, @realdonaldtrump
Thousands of top students from universities like Sharif have been admitted to leading U.S. institutions such as UPenn, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Stanford, and others…a dream for any Iranian student aspiring to become the next Dara Khosrowshahi. @dkhos
But due to the new #TravelBan, many of them can no longer pursue their futures of studying and conducting research in the greatest country in the world.
As someone whose PhD at Johns Hopkins led to founding a unicorn healthcare company (Huma), I know firsthand what’s possible when the U.S. welcomes global talent.
Many of these students will go on to build the next billion-dollar companies—just as I did—or win a Nobel Prize or Fields Medal like Maryam Mirzakhani.
I would be deeply grateful if you would reconsider the ban. Educated, hardworking talent is one of the fastest ways to contribute to your grand vision of making America great again. 🇺🇸

As someone whose PhD at Johns Hopkins led to building one of the world’s largest health tech companies (@HumaForHealth) know what’s possible when the U.S. opens its doors to talent.

I’d be grateful if President Trump @realDonaldTrump would reconsider the ban. Education builds America… and lifts the world. We can make America Great Again together. 🇺🇸

Iranian student: banned from US visa. Years of work wasted :)
Researched:
0% of US terror attacks by Iranians. Still banned for this reason.
Q:
What's your real experience with Iranians? Good or bad. I'll read all. ❤️

Students and scholars should not be denied education based on nationality. I followed every rule and earned my place, yet the #TravelBan keeps me out.
This discrimination hinders global knowledge exchange and academic progress.
Education is not a threat!
#EducationWithoutBorders
The reinstated U.S. travel ban is preventing students from countries like Iran—many already admitted to top universities—from starting their studies.
No one should lose academic and career opportunities because of where they were born.
#EducationWithoutBorders
Thousands of #Iranianstudents have earned admission to top U.S. universities.
Due to the new #TravelBan, many are now unable to pursue the futures they’ve worked so hard for.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about potential.
Let education bridge divides. Let talent move freely.
As @marcorubio said: “Our problem is not with the Iranian people. They are a peaceful people with a proud civilization.”
Trump Ban now blocks Iranian students — the very future-builders who could contribute to U.S. innovation and lasting global peace. The potential that would otherwise be lost if they are robbed of the right to education.
Scholars like Maryam Mirzakhani & Firouz Naderi proved this. @realDonaldTrump Please distinguish the regime from its people. @StateDept

President Trump recently acknowledged that Iranian people are smart and capable, yet over 1,000 Iranian students have been stuck in administrative processing for over a year. For decades, Iranian students have advanced global science, but now we risk losing our academic positions after repeated deferrals.
Meanwhile, millions of asylum seekers and illegal immigrants enter the U.S. without effort. Why are talented, hardworking students left behind?
We kindly request for fair, timely visa processing please.

@elonmusk "... we will need to withdraw our offer."
This is a familiar story for many Iranian students waiting for their US visas. Many positions are at risk as we approach spring semester. This is our life, future, time and money at stake! We urge you to expedite this prolonged process!
