@SteffanOskar@dzeeff Yeah, but depending how slow your playground format is it could end up better since it keeps the attack and you can play the cards instead of hoarding them. Probably almost always worse though, haha
@EckhartsLadder I hope Favreau has enough good will that this isn't the death knell for the character. I would like a good last season for the show that actually builds on everything that came before it
@MattisRedacted It's crazy to have your religion misexplained to you like this. This is super basic stuff for Latter-day Saints, and missionaries typically walk through this in their first lesson with somebody. I get the impression it's heretical hogwash to you, but you're really off base here
@scoutbuggy@PeepsYGO Honestly MBT and Peep's feel like the only game in town for Genesys, and iirc MBT does it for love of the game and it actively is a poor performer for the channel. I do hope it eventually finds a more permanent home than a discord, like format library or master duel meta
@SCentralized "Ben, how exactly did a Jedi help a Senator during a war?/Ben, how is an old man like you supposed to help fight a war?" "Luke, the Force is greater than the power to trick a soldier or deflect a blaster bolt. Jedi were able to sway the outcomes of battles simply by meditating"
@EckhartsLadder My four year old started putting capes on all of his lego battle droids after we got home from it. He said his favorite part was when they exploded the bad guys at the end
@OrtolanThoughts@SCentralized@retneysholocron Cassian's lack of character resulted in a lot of derision and hesitance when Andor was announced. He has the most typical "cold killer wants to atone and listens to his heart" story. And Jin is just as bad, it was the novel that made me care about her
@springsfilms Okay, my friend hasn't seen it 20 times, but she has seen it 10 times and it's her #1 obsession in life... so if you get in touch with him can she, too? 😂
@DarthInternous I think the commitment to the bit is funny, but there's so much language that is informed by historical context that I'm happier to accept that the Basic we hear is interpreted to us, including references like Chimera, hell, or inches than to die on this hill
@SCentralized I think Dark Empire's Luke going bad storyline could've been so much more if somebody had more explicitly laid out that it's Luke's pride vs the corruption of the Dark Side - Palpatine knows Luke is trying to play him, but is betting on darkness corrupting Luke in the end
What have gift cards done to leave them in such a sinful state that we must individually redeem them?
Or I guess what did they do that was bad enough to become fallen but not so bad than an ordinary dude can redeem them from it
@SCentralized Tbh Dark Times and Legacy kind of tainted how positively I felt about some of the Republic comics. I did not like how overly (imo) dark the tone/content became and I think Ostrander is as guilty as Filoni when it comes to being unable to kill his darlings
@Swagkage@mussi3x I know that people have valid, different opinions, but it was insane for me to finish Wano in tears then discover online that there is an extremely vocal contingent of fans that insist it is the worst thing to happen in OP and Kozuki Oden is the worst character in the manga
