I wrote a book! Introducing “Secret Alaska: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure.”
It’s designed to be one part travel guide, one part Alaska history—each chapter highlights a different “only in Alaska” story. Give it a read! https://t.co/OV56PLU3Ml
@TAP_Portugal hey! My bag has been sitting at the wrong airport for two weeks and your team keeps saying they'll get it delivered to me but haven't. What do I need to do to actually get some help here?
@Emily_Krivograd@WritersofColor @womenwriterswin Hey Emily! I live in Colorado Springs and there’s one of both brands within three miles of my house, so I could turn this around really quickly if needed. (I also grew up in Wisconsin and ate Culver’s constantly as a kid).
@Margo202_ Hey Margo! I’m planning my wedding in Portugal next year and will be doing some scouting trips this year, so I’d love to hear more. My email is [email protected]
For an AFAR article, I'm looking for experts who can speak to why you shouldn't take your shoes off while flying. Because it's unhygienic, a safety hazard, whatever the reason...let me know who I should talk to!
Hello, hello! I'm looking for the best hotels under $200 worth traveling for for an article. DM or email me ([email protected]) with any suggestions! #journorequest#prrequest
@rkobell I typically write an article a day (ranging between a quick news story to long features). It’s a hustle and didn’t happen overnight, but it’s possible. There was a year where I supported both myself and my fiance on just my freelance work (and we lived in very expensive Alaska)
Hello, hello! I'm looking for romantic yet surprisingly affordable U.S. getaway ideas for an article. DM me with any suggestions! #journorequest#prrequest
@AllegraEHobbs I lived in Alaska for a long time and could always tell tell how long someone had been there based on their thoughts on McCandless. Newbies (under 2 yrs.) thought he totally got “it.” Those who had done several winters thought he was an idiot.
Third time this year @UnitedAirlines has broken a suitcase (this time a brand new @away bag) they made me gate check and sent me home with my belongings in a plastic bag. How is that even statistically possible?
