We often hear from anti-religious people that science is all they need while God and religion is a myth and it is not backed with any proof.

Scientists like Dr. Okuda will beg to differ as he transformed from living a life without God to a life where he can’t live without God’s guidance.

Meet Dr. Atsushi Kamal Okuda, Professor of Political Systems at Keio University – a Japanese Muslim scientist, educator, and a caller to Islam.

Before Islam, Dr. Okuda explained he was immoral and lacked knowledge of the real purpose of his life. he said:

“Before Islam my life was barbaric. Very barbaric! Ignorant. I didn’t know the truth!”

He went on a journey seeking the truth, fighting a long academic battle with the various religions. Until he reached Islam and decided to study it properly.

During the sixth year of his college, he took an avid interest in Islamic legislation. As he was walking past one day, he came across a research paper where his eyes scanned over an ayah, a verse from the Quran which changed his life forever.

The ayah was about how Allah created mankind from sand, clay, and dust. One of the ayahs that talk about is in chapter 15, verse 26 where Allah says:

“And indeed, We created man from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud.”
