FINAL THOUGHT:

The truth is often uncomfortable,
but it’s never boring.
I can't imagine the stress or having to make life or death decisions for patients. The pain of dealing with death and tragedy. Intellectually we all know that Twitter isn't really representative of anything but Twitter. But the abuse on this platform towards MDs is wrong
Every MD knows they are not going to be right every time, it's impossible to be, but they will do their best . Every day. Are some better than others. Yes. Are there politics?More than most professions. But to dismiss MDs as being "bought" is wrong.
I want to share what I think about MDs. I love each and everyone that busted their ass, borrowed too much money, sacrificed more than we can ever quantify, in hopes of helping their patients. Medicine is an imprecise science. The uncertainties far outnumber the absolutes.
When hospitals recruit “Chief Wellness Officers” it makes me question their leadership.
Because they could’ve recruited medical scribes, nurses, records curators, social workers, discharge coordinators instead - and that would’ve improved “wellness” more than any officer can.
