@kbw1001@oldmudgie@HydesBrewery I always ask for one from behind the bar in less enlightened establishments, but have had to make do with a napkin before now. They setve a useful (essential?) purpose, after all.
@oldmudgie My mate in North Wales has been to their barn several times, v.scenic/atmospheric apparently, and nice cider to boot. Certainly not a major brand though. Neither does my friend recall seeing it any local supermarkets.
@oldmudgie Depends on the cut but not at the US steak houses I’ve been to. It’s common in France with Bavette steak. OK with cheaper cuts but otherwise not a fan - would rather slice to my desired size. Obviously it goes cold quicker too.
