When you succeed in life, find time to light your family's fire. So that if your own fire goes out, they can also return the favor and light your fire back. There's a risk of darkness if you are the only light in the family.

The world will be watching...
how the security services react to @HEBobiwine and his supporters..
Atte don’t score ‘own goals’ and blame the media etc...
Two leading civil society leaders and distinguished lawyers, Dr. Sarah Bireete E.D @ccgea1 and Eunice Musiime E.D @amwaafrika are the latest victims of the ongoing criminality. They have been abducted by the military and driven off to an unknown destination. These are definitely tough times, but the TOUGH PEOPLE OF UGANDA will outlive them. Uganda will be free!
From inside the palace: Uganda President Yoweri Museveni's son-in-law Odrek Rwabwogo says he's extremely worried to the core about the direction the country is taking.
Rwabwogo has asked Ugandans to unite and speak out.
He says the army and NRM's vote rigging, bribery, ballot stuffing, shooting of voters in the 2026 general elections and monetisation of the country's politics are a bigger threat to Uganda than foreign invasion, flooding, and earthquake, because now it doesn't pay to be good at what you do and as such, we can't get good leaders, good teachers, good doctors anymore.
Dear Maama Miria Matembe,
I stand with you in this dark and painful moment.
The harassment you and other women are facing from a childish coward masquerading as a general does not diminish your courage or dignity, it only exposes his weakness and moral bankruptcy.
The world is watching, and one day he will be held to account for his atrocities against the people of Uganda.
God be with you Maama.
I know you read these retweets & comments— my sis you have it takes to meet your brother and tell him to stop humiliating citizens, free political prisoners, this is our country, we don’t have another country to run too . You can’t tell us how Jesus loves us yet we under brutal R
Amen🙏. And may the lord touch your brother's heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh -disband basement torture, free all political prisoners and see Ugandans as people, not as wild animals on a shooting range. Amen🙏
I am truly sorry for the personal storm you are facing, Natasha. We all walk through difficult seasons. But for millions of Ugandans, the storm isn't a season; it is a permanent reality.
You speak beautifully of Jesus calming the storm, yet the everyday reality in our nation is an unrelenting tempest: hospitals lacking basic medicine, deep-seated corruption swallowing public funds, widespread poverty, and a climate of fear for those who speak out. While a select few live in absolute comfort, the rest of the country is drowning.
It often feels as though relief has been withheld from Uganda. Where is the miracle for this suffering nation? Pray for us, yes, but please also use your proximity to power to speak to your family about the storm this governance has created. The people are exhausted.
Madam, with due respect, we don't need sermons, we need accountability. Kindly direct those biblical teachings to your father and brother, who appear to need them more. As citizens, we are already familiar with those values; what we need are answers about how our taxes are being spent.
