UNAMA has confirmed that at least 10 civilians were killed, most of them children, and 9 people injured in airstrikes carried out in #Afghanistan's Kunar and Helmand provinces earlier today.
The history of the last 30 years demostrate that there a vast gap between what #Pakistan says and what it does when it comes to support of militants fighting in #Afghanistan. During the US presence in Afghanistan, Islamabad provided sanctuary and support to militants fighting against the US and it always denied that it was doing so. Playing this double game must stop. It is time to turn a new page. Afghanistan and Pakistan need economic cooperation and development. They should agree not allow their territory to be used to threaten each other's security.
@amnesty found no evidence to support the Pakistan military’s claims that Omid Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre was being used to store weapons and ammunition or for other military purposes at the time of the attack. The air strikes violated the special protection afforded to healthcare facilities under international humanitarian law (IHL), as well the principles of distinction, precaution and proportionality designed to protect civilians.

Why did Pakistan bomb a drug-treatment center in an Afghan hospital, killing 411? Pakistan claimed that it was a military target seems refuted by @AFP's investigation in Kabul. Is Pakistan examining what went wrong to avoid more such killing of civilians? https://t.co/XixawHWcBV
A Pakistani airstrike on a drug treatment center in Afghanistan on March 16 was an unlawful attack and a possible war crime.
Pakistani authorities should investigate the incident and hold all those responsible for wrongdoing to account. https://t.co/NOn3uMzqLV
Pakistan has not published credible evidence that TTP attacks within its territory were directed or controlled by the de facto Afghan authorities: UN experts
BREAKING:
PSL to be played behind close doors, in empty stadiums without crowds, because Pakistan does not have enough oil. They must have spent it all bombing innocent civilians in Afghanistan.
I feel sorry for ordinary cricket fans. But this is what happens when governments either start or secretly support unlawful wars on other countries. #PSL #Pakistan #Afghanistan #IranWar
Canada is closely monitoring the developments in Afghanistan and Pakistan and is deeply concerned about the rising number of civilian casualties resulting from this conflict.
Afghanistan/Pakistan: “The Pakistani authorities must now explain what information they acted upon, and steps taken for verification. They must also carry out an independent, impartial and timely investigation into the circumstances of this strike and the resulting civilian casualties, with the results made public with a view to ensuring accountability." https://t.co/0gZIcAWUIS
So I don’t see many Pakistanis posting about Afghanistan and condemning their hybrid 2.0 regime. Their solidarity with Palestine is performative and fake. They stay silent on Balochistan, KP. Such people are pathetic. Simply pathetic.
@KhawajaMAsif Shame on you fake country promoting fake news,
Every single Pakistani who’s cheering up the killing of 400 Afghan patients in a hospital in Paki 2nd Israeli airstrikes, sooner you will answer for this to Allah and as well response from Afghanistan
