Infleqtion has been selected by Eaton to support research exploring how quantum computing can strengthen the resilience of the U.S. electrical grid.

The collaboration will advance quantum-powered grid contingency analysis, helping evaluate how utilities could identify vulnerabilities, assess complex failure scenarios, and reduce the risk of cascading outages.

This program also reflects growing federal investment in quantum computing for mission-critical applications, where advanced computing capabilities have the potential to strengthen U.S. energy infrastructure, economic resilience, and national security.

Infleqtion will bring its quantum computing expertise to this work with Eaton, advancing research at the intersection of quantum technology and critical infrastructure.
