@vApathyv @tomfromtheweb If you install Destiny directly to the steam deck then you will be banned. This is Destiny running on a different PC, which is then streamed to the Steam Deck. It’s not actually running on Deck.

@c_a_starr Both kinda. Fedora on one SSD, then a second SSD has two partitions, one of which is Windows and the other is an ext4 partition with all of my games.

Apparently you're not allowed to use proprietary Nvidia drivers and Secure Boot (aka dual boot Windows 11) on Fedora 36 or something. I dunno, I'm too dumb to understand what's going on or how to fix it. #fedora #linux

Oh I see! I have multiple monitors, and the system is forcing global vsync with the refresh rate set to that of the SLOWEST monitor. That's a SENSIBLE default. I would never want to do something like allow an application to enable vsync on its own. Or sync to my 144hz display.

I've heard that although Nvidia drivers are a pain to install on Linux, that they at least work. So, naively, I installed Pop OS on my desktop. Pop OS works, but Nvidia's drivers do not. I feel this is an accurate statement because I can't run any games at greater than 60fps.

There is no world where a Windows handheld can measure up to the Steam Deck. Aya, GPD, all these vendors have to use off the shelf CPUs. This means that new handhelds will use "low power" processors designed to run at 28W. And you thought Steam Deck battery was bad.

@thenaughtysquid @popey Report: there’s no controller support, but the keyboard and mouse emulation controller preset works for the most part. Pretty easy to edit it to work from that template.
