Access to influential people is a privilege, not a resource to exploit. If you consistently build genuine capacity and become a person who adds value, you don't have to constantly chase influential people for opportunities. Last weekend in London, I was honoured to receive the 2026 AfroEuropa Star Award for Impactful Service at the fifth AFROEUROPA Gala & Awards Night.

This recognition means a great deal to me. It reflects my work in technology and my commitment to using it to make a positive difference. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported and been part of this journey.

The evening brought together people from many backgrounds and notable dignitaries, including the Mayors of Barking and Dagenham and Islington, a former Mayor of Enfield, diplomatic representatives from The Gambia, Ghana, Ecuador, Ethiopia and South Sudan, and representatives of the Nigerian High Commission.
