30+ minutes of Zach Edey propaganda....

The Grizzlies had a 97 defensive rating when Zach Edey was on the floor. When he was off the floor the Grizz had a 122 defensive rating. That's a 25.5 point differential. Edey was so damn dominant defensively and on the glass, he was breaking the analytic system. So much so that experts couldn't believe it, and the only explanation they could come up with was that Jaylen Wells and Vince Williams Jr. was fighting over screens and protecting Edey. It didn't occur to them that guards simply didn't want to come inside with Edey down there, allowing their defenders to recover. Sure enough when Zach Edey left the lineup, guys couldn't seem to fight over screens anymore.
