A qualified math's and science teacher who has been unemployed for more than 10 years couldn't hold her tears. South Africa even has unemployed medical Doctors, because of the government prioritizing immigrants with questionable qualifications.

Reports of alleged police brutality and intimidation during raids in Reiger Park, Boksburg, following the killing of two Anti-Gang Unit officers have emerged.
Claims that officers allegedly questioned and terrorised young children-including a five-year-old
about the whereabouts of firearms, as well as allegations of elderly people and babies being assaulted or intimidated, must be taken seriously.
Police have a difficult and dangerous job, and those responsible for the murders of the AGU officers must be brought to justice.
But children, elderly residents and innocent families cannot become victims in the process.
If these allegations are substantiated, those responsible must face consequences.
Raids must be conducted lawfully, professionally and with respect for human dignity.
The focus should be on finding the killers and the weapons, not terrorising vulnerable members of the community.
Allegations of abuse should be investigated urgently.

Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma endorses ActionSA's eThekwini mayoral candidate ahead of November polls
March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has endorsed ActionSA's newly announced eThekwini mayoral candidate, Zwakele Mncwango, urging residents of the metro to back the party in the 4 November 2026 local government elections.
The endorsement came on 8 August at an ActionSA event in KwaMashu, where party president Herman Mashaba formally named Mncwango, the KwaZulu-Natal provincial chairperson, as the candidate for eThekwini. Mashaba also announced candidates for KwaDukuza and Newcastle.
Ngobese-Zuma, a KwaMashu-born activist who rose to prominence leading campaigns against undocumented immigration and for prioritising South Africans in public services, praised the candidate's resilience and the party's consistent support for her movement's "put South Africans first" message. She called on eThekwini residents to rally behind Mncwango, saying the city has long suffered under failing leadership and broken promises.
ActionSA and March and March have maintained a cooperative relationship for some time, sharing concerns over illegal immigration, hijacked buildings, and service delivery failures. Mashaba had previously indicated the party would welcome Ngobese-Zuma as a candidate herself, though she has consistently stated she is not seeking elected office and remains focused on her movement.
Mncwango, a former DA figure who joined ActionSA, has outlined priorities including tackling undocumented immigrants through a dedicated unit, addressing water and sewage crises, insourcing key municipal services, and auditing infrastructure projects. He accepted the nomination pledging to put residents before politics.
The endorsement strengthens ActionSA's push in eThekwini as parties gear up for a competitive local government contest.
