Pay attention people just on the off chance that you haven't noticed on your own yet.
A short story. About 6-8 years ago I used to always make my bank deposits in person. The teller would always tell me that I could do the transaction with the ATM and I would tell her that I liked coming into the bank. One of the last times I saw her when she again told me that that I confronted her and asked her if she really understood what she was saying. She told me that the bank wanted her to tell customers about using the ATM's. I asked her if she knew why and she said no. So, I told her they are replacing you with machines and you are helping them. She just laughed at me.
Within 6 months that branch closed she was out of her job and 2 of the banks ATM's now sit in a wall nearby.

Be aware, almost anyone's job can be replaced with a machine given time. If you keep thinking you are somehow unique in your job, think again and either prepare yourself or keep your head in the sand, choice is yours.
