Recently, I have noticed what appears to be a concerning trend during the release of big-star movies. In my view, there are instances where tickets are booked in large numbers through online platforms, and negative ratings and reviews are posted immediately on platforms such as BookMyShow and IMDb. Whether coordinated or not, this can create a negative first impression and may influence potential audiences before they have a chance to watch the movie themselves.

I understand that in the Kannada and Telugu film industries, some releases have disabled audience ratings on BookMyShow during the initial release period. This allows viewers to make their own decision about watching the film without being influenced by early ratings.

With this in mind, I would like to request that you consider adopting a similar approach for Jailer 2 by disabling audience ratings on BookMyShow, at least during the initial release period. I believe this could encourage audiences to experience the film in theaters and form their own opinions.

Back in 2022, a senior TN BJP leader told me that such an idea had been discussed by the party leadership, but Rajinikanth was not interested at the time. If a similar offer is made in 2027 and he accepts, the political statures could change overnight.
I know there is one leader in NDA who is a close friend of Rajini very keen to lobby for him.
