@dp0807_@BrockToonz@xxxquisite20171@ifesonachi@PolymarketSport The US’s 9 best players weren’t playing. Lol. Pulisic came in very late and that was it. Plus the intensity and aggressiveness were low, I don’t think the US even attempted a counterattack all game even though they had plenty of chances. They’d just boot it back to Turkiye lol
@ojboyj_@thenotorious617@dresalter@Danizeh I agree that they technically can beat USA. I mean Cape Verde tied with Spain so anything can happen. It’s about likelihood - saying they “would” beat USA is ridiculous lol
@GCillz@BrunosEspresso8@Underdog No USA actually took care of business against two better teams than Bosnia in dominating fashion, never sweating for a single second.
@cam_as_king@coutixszn That’s great that the ball happened to bounce their way once. It was a terrible performance and even they would tell you that. TODAY was a game to be proud of.
@ITFDBLA@kingduran59@TheBenPeck@ScoringChanges@Phillies@Mets There are plenty of rules where the scorer has to make the designation as to whether or not it’s likely a person would be safe or out. It’s the same for errors. This isn’t even debatable that the call was wrong. Like not even a little bit lol
@JohnChr13937345@TheBenPeck@ScoringChanges@Phillies@Mets Again. The rule book does not allow you to add that context. Additionally, if it is overwhelmingly likely that you would be thrown out, it does not count as an extra base.
@JohnChr13937345@TheBenPeck@ScoringChanges@Phillies@Mets There are no rules in the MLB that allow you to take the context of the score/inning etc. into account so get rid of that lol. He’s not trying to advance in a regular bases empty scenario here. I mean my 10 year old son would throw him out in this situation
@kingduran59@TheBenPeck@ScoringChanges@Phillies@Mets That is not allowed to be used as context. But also:
Part of the rule is that if he would have decided to go with the bases empty , would he CLEARLY be out? Which this account decided to ignore. The answer is yes, he would clearly be out (see photo).
