Ground Report: Koraput’s Daily Struggle for Water 💥💥

When the reporter reached this water source in Koraput, Odisha, she was left shocked. What looked like an ordinary pit was actually a lifeline for several families living in the area.

She found that residents have to climb down into the deep pit every day, collect water, and then carry heavy containers back up. A difficult journey that has become a routine part of their daily lives.

During her visit, she also noticed a strong smell in and around the water source, raising concerns about the quality and safety of the water being used by local communities.

For these families, this is not a one-time hardship but a daily struggle for survival and access to one of the most basic necessities clean water.

This is just one chapter of a much larger story from Koraput, Odisha.
