If you believe in the mere possibility of the existence of extraterrestrial intelligent life, capable of becoming Christians, you have ALREADY been deceived by the antichrist and you're NGMI.
@CharlesTingler@Christ_Conserv@OpStCyprian Anything that is an attack on human dignity/inviobility is by definition immoral. If the death penalty is not immoral, then it cannot be an attack on human dignity/inviobility. Can't have it both ways.
@CharlesTingler This is entirely revisionist. The primary reason for the death penalty was retributive justice, which isn’t sinful private revenge because it’s public justice that avenges society itself. Failing to understand this distinction is failing to understand the issue altogether.
Can't wait for legal abandonment day!
Gen x is even worse though:
"Grandkids? I don't even want the kids I have"
"The best part about grandkids is I get to give them back"
Heard these several times
The first generation in the history of mankind to have a concept of "retirement" after 30 years of work also took that mindset into parenthood.
Didn't even raise their kids for the first 18 years, then kicked them out and said don't ask me for anything ever again.
@RichardWByers@prairiehsewife > Your mother raised her children. She isn't obligated to raise yours, or rearrange her life whenever you need childcare.
Same grandma to all her friends: "I don't know why Jimmy never visits me! I deserve to see the grandkids"
Thank you for bearing witness to what happened last Saturday. God bless you and your beautiful wife! I agree with you, Matt, that no one should be vengeful, and I am longing to be a peacemaker. True peace comes, however, when people do the right thing. To avoid controversy in the name of “peace” is certainly not what Our Lord Jesus Christ did in the face of something unjust.
People who have not been victimized through clerical abuse and coverup often don’t know that it really triggers victims to be shut down by members of the Church and told not to protest injustice. Quoting Sacred Scripture at us to silence us is something our abusers did. There were other victims at the conference and I fear they felt the same pain I did, or possibly even more, at the public treatment given to me not only on stage, after the speech, but in the days that followed. My heart breaks not for me but for the victims in the audience who saw my voice egregiously censored and shut up after I publicly declared that I “spoke for them.”
Why do you give me public advice but say nothing to the conference organizers? I am sorry that you guys were put in this position, but like I have said to you multiple times, I am not the one who put you there. Instead of the advice you issued to me here, you and the other firsthand witnesses in the speaker room could rather advise the conference team to give me (and other victims) the apology I/we deserve, to make my full speech available to the women who attended last Saturday, and restore the website.
For me to request this is simple justice, not something vengeful or divisive. It is restorative and the only way toward true peace in Our Lord Jesus Christ. Ave Maria ❤️🔥
