🔴 Cette femme professeur à l’université , Bettina Zourli, estime que le pillage dans les petits magasins fait parti des «révolutions». Ils auraient des assurances.
J’invite tous les commerçants, non remboursés par les assurances, à lui envoyer la facture
So let me get this straight. The story here is how two unauthorized, older women who happen to be recognizable award winning journalists were able to bypass security controls at a federally regulated $10 billion industrial site. Is that really the angle they’re going with? -ND
@Auriel_zy Where did this occur, some places have Good Samaritan laws that mean you cannot be held liable for damage/injury that happens in the course of assisting someone.
The editors put this picture in the article. Which is legit hilarious. Someone was really taking the proverbial🤣🤣
Also Louise, your ridiculous “it could happen to us all” is just a moral panic!!!! Stop it.
A celebrity (unnamed) is being protected as to identity in case he commits suicide.
He faces serious allegations about his conduct including a sexual offence. Attempts are being made to gag the press citing “risk to life”.
This is not ok. Further potential allegations from other complainants may rely on hearing his name in the press.
Name him. We have had enough serious cases where men were not named, where cover ups took place. This man should not be allowed to manipulate because famous. https://t.co/G4UCwabt6y
Kindly show some respect for those injured and killed in the CFB Wainwright tragedy, and for the families grieving their loved ones. This is not the time for speculation, politics, or insensitive commentary. A little humanity and compassion shouldn’t be too much to ask. 🇨🇦
I worked with CBC Fifth Estate for one investigation they did. Don't confuse this group with rest of CBC, they do very good work, confirm it, and deliver. You can take it to the bank if it's on Fifth Estate. Watch this, the Ford's govt knew about all of this 4 years ago, and now are crushing innocent schools and students. Share widely. #osap
Every year, viral social media posts tell us to bleach pumpkins to preserve them. And every year, I post: please don't do that.
Pumpkins are food. Wild animals will nibble a jack-o'-lantern, so bleach, paint and plastic decorations turn a pumpkin into contaminated food. Wildlife agencies recommend keeping pumpkins free of chemical preservatives.
You can preserve your pumpkins longer by keeping them cool and bringing them inside between displays. It's also reasonable to accept that pumpkins are perishable and they will rot over time. As they should.
When your jack-o-lantern is done, remove candles, wax and decorations. Compost an untreated pumpkin or use an approved municipal drop-off.
Don't dump piles of pumpkins in parks or preserves; even organic waste is litter when it concentrates food, spreads non-native seeds and attracts animals to roads and people.
Painted or treated pumpkins belong in the trash unless local guidance says otherwise.

A very interesting thing happened in Gaza today that was totally overlooked by the media.
According to merchants in Gaza, Hamas charges $3,000 for every truck that enters the strip. In addition, it requires merchants to sell approximately 30% of their goods in cash, which enables the organization to gain control over the proceeds. At 600 trucks per day, this translates to at least $1.8M per day. What can I say? Every don in Sicilia would be jealous.
Now, a merchant refused to pay this protection money and in response Hamas kidnapped his son. Following this incident, other merchants have announced they will suspend all coordination of goods entering the Gaza Strip through the private sector, effective immediately.
I have no doubt Hamas and its allies in the West are going to use this to accuse Israel of starving Gaza again, so keep your eyes open.
🚨#BREAKING: Parents are FURIOUS after a 67-year-old Maryland school bus driver who bought EVERY KID SCHOOL SUPPLIES ON HER ROUTE was STRIPPED OF HER CERTIFICATION...
...because she stopped on an empty country road so a 10-year-old boy could RESCUE AN INJURED KITTEN!!!
Yes, you read that right...
A little boy saw a hurt kitten on the side of the road, his bus driver let him save it, and she lost her job for it.
Her name is Cynthia Morgan.
For 11 years she drove kids in Harford County, most recently to North Harford Elementary.
Parents say every fall she BOUGHT SCHOOL SUPPLIES for EVERY child on her bus.
Oh, and she also bought:
-> Christmas gifts.
-> Birthday cards.
All out of her own pocket, for all her bus stop students.
In one mom’s words:
“She is an angel. She is the most caring person.”
Then one day... in rural Pylesville, the boy spotted an injured kitten by the road.
He was the ONLY child on the bus
Cynthia stopped, he hopped off, scooped up the kitten, and held it the whole way to school.
On October 5th, the district’s transportation director sent a letter to the contractor that employs her and stripped her of her certification.
More than 10,000 people have signed a petition to bring her back.
Even freaking PETA wrote to the Board of Education TODAY demanding a review of the situation
The boy’s mother is BEYOND FURIOUS... if you can't let a boy rescue a kitten on a country road, what CAN you do?!!!!
WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE?!!!!!!!!
We are starting to see a wider variation in the manner in which news outlets refer to gender expansive criminal suspects and convicts. A male substitute teacher who calls himself “Sophie”, who threatened to murder his own students and even to cannibalize one of them, is referred to by pronouns that correspond to his sex throughout this report in a small local news outlet.
Meanwhile the Globe and a Mail took pains to honor the gender identity of the US-based accomplice of the 18-year man who murdered eight people in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. The Tumbler Ridge shooter sent a photo of himself with a gun whose barrel was wrapped with a sticker in the trans colors next to a trans flag to his Washington state based accomplice, who egged him on. The Globe and Mail have referred to both the killer and his accomplice, who are both men, as woman throughout their coverage in order to affirm that their transgender identification is real so that readership will be educated that when any man says he is a woman, we all have a moral duty to join him in making the same false claim ourselves.
The difference seems to be that small local news outlets are less likely to be controlled by an astroturfed pseudo-consensus that it’s wrong to make an accurate reference to a person’s sex if it diverges from his claim to be the opposite sex, and more likely to be accountable to a small local community who have yet to take on this belief.
Quit your whinging , you know what is really humiliating having to beg someone not to cut your power, having to put things back in the checkout line. Millions of Americans can't afford the basics and your bitching about home decor.
Cool, cool. Sure, it wasn’t for sale. That’s the narrative Art of Play is gonna go with 👍 so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title Singing Bird didn’t happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone “yes, it’s for sale but it costs 15,000 dollars so if you’d like me to find something comparable for you I can.” That all never happened and now it’s not for sale. Okay, cool. So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar. Got it ✅
And by the way, I obviously support small businesses because I was literally at a small business trying to purchase things. I love small businesses and know they are important and I always support them, but you don’t get a free pass to treat people less than in your store just because you are a small business. It’s not that hard to be kind. I never blast people but you my friend were an exception.
Your store is really cool.
Unfortunately, you aren’t.
William Chapman. Those who insist he was non-verbal, used BSL, lost his carers, wore hearing aids; extremely vulnerable, severe autism; unable to communicate etc (yawn) must feel pretty stupid. Wensleydale and Stilton update
This pair have been through so much and are finally ready for rehoming.
Kittens jabd cats ust love being together; anyone who has watched two kittens play together can see how much they enjoy chasing and playing with each other and then collapsing in a heap together to sleep.
Growing up, they continue to provide vital company for each other – essential if everyone is out of the house for any length of time during the day. All a single kitten in a new home wants is its mum and litter mates.
It is good for kittens to grow up with another member of their own species, as they learn how to be normal cats through playing together – for the same reasons people take puppies to the park or dog classes to socialise with other puppies, and human children are taken to playgroups to mix with other children.
The comfort a pair gain from each other helps minimise the stress of being rehomed. Many rescued kittens are initially shy and to face a new home on their own could be very frightening. If you already have an adult cat then it is generally easier to introduce a pair of kittens rather than a single kitten – a resident cat will initially be hostile to a new arrival whether kitten or adult, a pair will stick together, and existing cats can either play with them or leave them as they wish.
Throughout their lives a pair of cats provide companionship for each other. Cats can live 18-20 years and during this time your life is likely to change – a pair of cats who have each other will cope better with events such as home moves, changing working patterns – in particular working longer hours, new cats in the neighbourhood, the arrival of a new baby etc.
